I downloaded a free app from the App store in December last year called WiFinder (authour: Lars A Bergstrom), which I have been using to locate open wireless networks whilst travelling abroad (due to Rogers extortionate data roaming charges).

I've noticed that within the past week or so, the App has disappeared from my iPhone and iTunes. I tried searching the App store and it is no longer available.

If an app disappears from the App store, should the app automatically be removed from my Itunes and iPhone? Has anyone else encountered this with other apps?

That's a good point.

Based on that, I searched my Mac and hey presto, I've found the app in the correct location along with all the other apps.

I'm guessing that I must have deleted it from the iphone somehow and then it disappears when I sync with iTunes. I'm a bit mystified as to why I didn't see a message appear to ask me whether I wanted to move the app to Trash. Perhaps I switched the notification message off.
