When are you heading to the Apple store or Best Buy?

It will be interesting to hear what times all of you are planning on heading to get your iPad. Especially interesting to hear how early the non pre-ordered customers decide to head out. Anybody camping anywhere?

for me:

Best Buy @ 6 AM Sat
 
I live 1.5 hrs from the nearest Apple Store, so I'll probably wake up around 6am & hopefully be there by 9-930ish. Depending on how many pitstops I do on the way there.
 
I mail ordered my 32 gb wifi ipad. So I am
planning to go to Bestbuy 30 min before it opens and buy a few ipad accessorys. Then eat breakfast out while reading all of the daily hype, then comfortably come home around 11am with my new ipad hopefully on the couch from ups!
 
I got $250 Best Buy Giftcard... Going there on friday night to see the lines, if no lines, i'll go around 4am in the morning on Saturday. If there is a line, I'll count and start camping right away :cool:
 
I already have a preorder being delivered, but I'm going to head down to Best Buy around 9 to see what's going on and see if I can maybe get a case.
 
say if I go to my apple store or best buy on saturday morning.. will they have them available for people that didn't pre-order?
 
I'm waking up at 5:30 am to get to my mall before 6am. Then wait in the car until the doors open.
 
I plan to be at my Apple Store at 9:30. No point in showing up terribly early.
 
I'll be at my mall/apple store at around 5:30-6. Wait till they open the doors to the mall, and run to the Apple store to be the first in line...(If all goes to plan).





Gah, so excited. One more full day.
 
If BB's going to have 40 of each model, I'll show up when it opens at 10. I'm not too concerned. Best Buy hasn't advertised this at all, so I'm not expecting too many people. And if they're sold out, I'll just wait :)
 
I was planning to go to bestbuy at 7am, but I just went to bestbuy and the guy said I was the first one to even ask about the ipad. So probably go around 9
 
I have no idea what time the mall opens, but I will be leaving at 7am to get to the Apple Store. :) I am so pumped.
 
I plan to be there at 9am. I have a pre order so I'm not to worried. I do want to get a case if they have them.

Also, when they release Leopard and Snow leapard they gave out Tshirts, so who knows?
 
No point in waiting in line before 9am. Line should move quick -- pure scan box and swipe card for the employees. Figure I'll be out by 10pm and if I waited in line a 8am I'd still be in the back of the line.
 
I'm going to line up at 8am. I talked to a guy at the Boston store (the largest in the US) and he says that reserve stock will be held until 3 but that there will ALSO be non-reserve stock and the line for that will be let into the store at 10.

So my plan is to get in early as I have one reserved!
 
When does everyone who has a reserved iPad plan on getting their? I'm not worried about not getting one but I do like being a part of a new product launch and waiting in line to chat with fellow Apple fans is half the fun. I was thinking of getting there around 8am but I have no idea that's too early.

I reserved. I plan to pass by bestbuy at 10am since I'd reach that before the apple store. If it's no line I'll get it there, if not head to apple
 
I might get to BB 30 minutes early (if I go at all) to try to get the case. That's the only accessory that I feel impatient about (my case still says "ships by April 3".
 
I'm closing at my Best Buy that Friday (will be setting up the iPad displays as well), so I won't be out till 4 AM or so. I plan on getting in line assoon as I clock out.
