sorry, it's a bit of a noob question but i'm new to macs and iphones......


when i connect my iphone to my mac mini running leopard, it comes up with a box that says download to and automactic task.

how can i stop this popping up?

Did a quick search...sounds like Image Capture is trying to download the photos off your iPhone? Is this right?

Sounds like what it's doing is thinking it's a digital camera, so it needs to sync your new photos somehow w/ the Mini. I read on another forum, you can change your image downloading preferences by doing this:

Actually, it's kind of convoluted.
You have to open Image Capture, which is located in your Applications folder.
Go to Preferences and set what you want to have happen when you connect a camera.
