When does AppleCare start for those of us that bought BTO iMac's with SSD?

When does Apple Care start if you purchased a BTO iMac with SSD. I bought mine, yesterday, May 9, and it won't ship until June 21. Does it start the day you purchased the item or does it start when it is shipped or received. If it is the day you purchased, I will lose 1 month of eligibility without even having the use of the iMac.

Does anyone know when it starts?

It starts when you receive your Mac. The date on Apple's site is just an estimation and I believe you can send a proof to them that you didn't receive it until a certain date.

My Applecare started when my iMac was ready for shipping.

Once your iMac arrives check your serial number here to find out. If its a problem then I would suggest a call to AppleCare to see if they would extend it.
