I have a dual USB charger. Sometimes my kid will use the other slot to charge something when I am charging my iPad and nothing will charge. Both devices will make the charging connected sound and it keeps doing that without charging either device. I've tried to tell em not to do it a couple times, but even I have made the mistake. Is that bad for the iPads battery? It seems fine for what its worth. Thanks.

What USB charger is it? It sounds it’s limited in the power it can provide.

iPads can take 2.4A 12W and so if your charger can’t do 2x that then it’s sharing the capacity...

Yep, just checked and the max it puts out is 2.1a. They were both ipads. I hope that didnt destory my battery.

No, it wouldn’t cause any long term battery issues, it will just charge it slower.
