I jailbroke my iphone awhile ago and I downloaded apps for Installous, this is the first time i'm trying to sync with my computer and when I go to sync it says X number of apps will be deleted. What should I do? Please help!

Can someone with a clue elaborate on this? It detects pirated apps?

It doesn't detect pirated apps per se, but it detects apps that aren't in iTunes on the computer you are syncing with. With legit store-bought apps, it offers to transfer them from the iPhone to the computer, but I'm guessing that pirated apps aren't transferred, so they get deleted because sync deletes anything on the iPhone that isn't in iTunes.

I have heard that turning off "iTunes sync" in the Installous settings will sort of fix the issue. iTunes will stop trying to delete them and allow you to sync your phone, although the apps in question may not be synced back to your computer.

I agree with the other people above who suggested removing the apps and using legit ones though.
