When is it for sale instore?

Maybe the 30th or 31st? The first shipment seems to be stuck in China.
It's in some stores already. Not sure if you guys know, but you can get the Internet outside of the US now. So people in China and Australia, for example, have already posted that they purchased theirs.
A guy in Colorado said he saw one in a store too.
Maybe you guys could narrow it down to a particular country and area, that might help though.

Check your local Best Buy. They showed up around 3pm eastern (03/29). They were not showing in stock on the website but were available on the floor. Traded my Mom's iPad Mini 2. With $150 discount and $25 gift card it was worth upgrade for her. The only bummer is that there are no cases available yet.
Thanks! I think it's weird that the apple store doesn't have a pick up option yet but best buy has stock. Maybe i'll just swing by best buy instead.
Our truck came in tonight and we got all the models except the Silver at Best Buy. Plus we have a cool trade-in and gift card deal when you buy the new iPad. I may trade in my old Air 1 for $175, and get then be able to get the new one for $155. *Pretty darn good deal for an upgraded Air 1 iPad IMO.

Is this the case for most Best Buys or was yours lucky? I notice these are not available for Pickup in store, which would be odd if they have stock.
My local Best Buy had them on the floor last afternoon in all colors (when I looked at the cage it looked like 5-6 of each). Website was showing that in store pickup was not available. Just checked the website and in store pickup is still not available. And it looks that $25 gift card offer is gone as well, only trade in offer is showing. I think the best is just to go and see for yourself.
I was just able to order one from Best Buy in store pick up. 128gb gold and said it would be ready in an hour. Sadly the $25 gift card was gone, but I had over 300 from trading in a 4 and a mini 2.
My Best Buy in kennesaw ga had a lot. They did not have a display model but plenty in stock. I bought mine today. Good device for the money imho.
I ordered mine from Abt Electronics today and they say it is shipping on Monday. I imagine they'll start showing up early next week.
