When is Panther GM coming? :)

Does anyone have any insight as to when Panther will go on sale to the public? I'm VERY anxious to get it so I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about it's planned release date.

I say mid-october too. Panther is gonna rock xp. panther seems so cool and i hope i get it when my dad buys me my powerbook

It wouldn't COUNT on anything in October. Apple's going to take as long as they need to to get out as many bugs as possible. My ex-chums from the Apple Store here and my bf in Cupertino say no later than December, but not necessarily October. Just depends on how easily they can sort through the remaining problems.
