Is there a date etched in stone sometime in November when there is going to be another Mac expo?

The next major Apple event is Macworld in January :)

Thank you for the info Psychofreak. I now came to the personal conclusion if there is not an update to a Macbook on the Oct 26th Expo in London, it isn't going to happen in anytime in November. They wouldn't just sneak an update on a product in Nov without a big press conference. That would just be horrible marketing in my honest opinion.

Ummm...hate to break it to you, but the macbooks have been updated relatively silently since their release. The change from CD==>C2D was 'silent', as was the update in May. Why does there have to be a big event for them to be updated? It seems that Jobs only updates phones, iPods, and software at big events these days (oh, and that one iMac update :p).

Way to kill my dream. Better knowing that now rather then later.

Well, it's one of those things you would have figured out in an embarrasing visit to the Apple Store:p

But seriously, now you know how this works, so you won't mess up with other rebates either;)
