When is the UK getting the eBay App - if ever?

I have got the iPhone 3G, and was really looking forward to getting the eBay app after seying it at the keynote speech. Seems so far it has only been released in the US App Store - why havent the UK got it yet?

Anyone know anything?

Yeah, I'm getting really annoyed waiting for this. Can there be any reason for the hold-up? Come on eBay, UK (and the rest of the world) would like to use your app too, it means more sales for you!

What about the alternatives?

I used GarageBuy which was ok, I haven't tried iRibbit yet but it has got a lot of good reviews.

I would much rather prefer an official app too though

Have you sent a request to the developer, asking? I'm sure if enough interest is shown, that would speed up their decision.

It's a nice neat little app, it's pretty solid too, the only bug I had was having trouble with using "Buy it now" on a item, which I've now found has been corrected in the latest build.
