When is your Apple Card charged if you are doing Apple Card Payments?

I you recently purchased one of the new 2021 iMacs and signed up for the Apple Card 12 monthly payments, when was your Apple Card Charged? Did it show as a regular charge (for the first payment/taxes, etc.) or did it show in the list of Installments Payments? I ordered my iMac Blue 8/8/8/512 on June 27th and is still showing Processing with estimated arrival of July 19-26th.

Ordered early AM on 4/30/21, the invoice is dated 5/20 it appeared as an installment charge in my wallet on 5/31/21.

I paid all at once and my Apple Card was charged the day my M1 iMac shipped.

they take the total amount of the purchase off your credit limit but the charges are billed once per month and show up like you bought that amount for the month. I am not sure the timing b/c I know I didn't do it exactly the end of the month but mine show up on the first of each month with the new statement.

As Runs for Fun mentioned, it's last day of the month. For me it's a good aspect of AppleCard. I prefer recurring bills that are precisely last day of the month.

Important general advice(to anyone): pay off the full monthly balance each and every month using auto withdrawal from your bank account. Don't do it manually each month, it's too easy to let it slide.
Keeping credit card balances is one of the worst things someone can do with their hard earned money. One of the very few exceptions to that is interest free charges (like Apple sometimes offers). For interest free charges, pay the smallest required minimum payment (ONLY for the interest free balance).
Interest free charges = essentially free money.
15% interest charges (for one year) = essentially paying MBP M1 prices for buying an MBA M1

I bought a laptop using the Apple Card and the sales tax portion was due immediately, with the 12 installments starting the first of the month following my purchase. Basically, if you follow Apple’s payment plan, you’ll make 7/13 payments. A sales tax payment, then 6/12 payments for the product.

I get notified on the second day of each month that a new payment is due, and I have until the last day of that month to initiate payment.
