I am asking cause I know when Apple releases a new iPhone, there will be tons of people not eligible for discount pricing due to either a two year contract or they upgraded to the 3GS.
When the new iphone comes out...I wanna be in line and get the subsidized pricing and a new 2 year contract...

From my site

"You are not eligible to upgrade at a discounted price due to your length of service. However, you may still purchase a phone/device at the full price. Our records indicate that you will be eligible for an upgrade at a discounted price on 11/20/2010"

My wife

You are not eligible to upgrade at a discounted price due to your length of service. However, you may still purchase a phone/device at the full price. Our records indicate that you will be eligible for an upgrade at a discounted price on 09/23/2010

mine is up sept of this year but im able to upgrade feb 27th 2010...

i dont see my self upgrading to the 3gs my 3g has been fine but i have noticed the battery lately is not holding that good of a charge anymore.

ive had it since sept of 08 so it may be time...

im also missing some things about my bb curve that the iphone def cant do and one of them was the battery lasted 2days compared to barely a day.
speaker phone rocks on a bb..ear pc volume was very loud also...

who knows..... really dont know what i will do come feb or sept..

Heck, I cant upgrade till Nov. That'll be when I get a new phone if one is out by then.

My 18 month contract for my 3G with O2 has already ended.

I'll probably upgrade to the new iPhone in June as long as Apple make it a good update, though I'll keep one eye on all the new smart phones that keep appearing in the meantime.

My contract renewal date is the 27th of june… which seems to plan out perfectly for the release of the new iPhone… if they do everything the same… should be pretty quick and simple to upgrade :)

Got my iPhone 3G on the release day (here in Norway): July 11, 2008.

My contract ran out July 10, 2009, and on that very day I unlocked it (legally and fre of charge) and changed to a less expensive plan (at the same provider).

1 year plans are long enough, I think... ;)

two years from the 3GS release day, since I have upgraded to every new iphone every year. I may have not got subsidized pricing every time, but selling the old phone every year got me my FREE upgrade, which I plan to do yet again this year :D

My contract is up 15 Aug 2011, but I should be eligible for full-subsidy upgrade on 15 Jan 2011 after 17 months.

I will probably end up upgrading as soon as the DevTeam jailbreaks the new version, though, financing an early upgrade to the new version by selling my 3GS.

Nov. 2010 

So i might choose to wait for the 5G, or what ever it shall be dubbed in June 2011 other wise it won't be till 2012 or 6G. I can upgrade again but we shall see what is released in June.

My contract doesn't expire until 12/28/2010. However, upon viewing my AT&T account online, they state that I'm eligible to upgrade to an iPhone at a discounted price on 8/29/2010. So that should work out if and when a new iPhone is announced come summer.

7 July this year, so, as long as there's a new phone by then, I'll let all you June people stand in the queues and hope you've left one for me when I saunter into the shop in July. :)
