Tried my daughter’s AirPods and now I really want some, but I don’t want to buy when new ones are potentially just around the corner.

When do you think new ones will be released, and what improvements might there be that would make them worth waiting for?

Meh I got mine this week. Considering they are out of stock at every bestbuy in New York City since Christmas I don’t think many people care about a new pair coming out possibly. Based off the rumors I don’t even care for the new ones

Think I saw first half of 2019. I went ahead last year and bought them. Good luck.

Don’t know much about the rumors. What are they saying the differences will be?

Some has said Active nose cancellation which wouldn’t do much because of design , health things , Bluetooth 5.0 . Pretty much all I have read though might be more.

You can try the PeohZarr wireless earbuds. It is really cheap. Comes with and Bluetooth and IPX7. High cost performance.https://peohzarr.net/collections/hot-products/products/wireless-earbuds-t40

The only thing is, I’m really funny about how things feel in my ears. I have been worried about whether I’d like the Airpods, but was able to try them. I’m a little nervous about something I haven’t been able to try, although that price surely looks good!

Any improvements they include will be marginal at best. I just got mine last week after waiting for them for 3 weeks. They're classic Apple - unassuming, clean, useful, effortless and provide a surprisingly rich sound (nothing groundbreaking, but better quality than most).
I'm a headphone hoarder so if the new ones are compelling enough, I'll just have two pairs :)

You won't regret it if you buy the current ones (that is if they are not out of stock in your area like they are everywhere else).

Yeah I don’t think we have any in our area either. I’ve been hoping to get a gently used pair, but no luck so far.

My best guess would be an event in march announcing new ipads and Airpods... but its just a guess.

As far as improvements, expect very minimal updates as is customary for Apple.

Yeah, and a potential price increase. Another reason the current ones are looking good.

I can't think of any reasons as to why they would increase the price. At least not so with the few new features that have been rumored.

Annoyed that I just lost mine. Thinking of picking up cheaper Beats X to hold me over until the new AirPods come out but at the same time I really love the whole AirPod experience.

They just announced the iPad pros ... they aren’t going to announce any new ones. If anything a just press release for the same model but now compatibility with the Apple Pencil 2 if that .

Instead of just posting articles just writing a lost would be easier or is that all you do for a living ?
Do those existing articles/discussions not relate to and provide more information in relation to what is being asked about?

Or a simple sentence is easier ? Instead of waiting for a website to load to reach more BS?

the regular ipad and the mini are supposed to be announced in March I believe. They did the same thing last year... announced the pro's in October and then announced the 9.7" the following March in that education oriented event in NYC.

Yeah they aren’t going to announce new ones. They are obviously slowing down the release cycles for the tablets.
