I have a MBA 13'' coming in next week and I read battery calibration can play a big part in the performance of the battery so am just wondering if I could go through the calibration procedure right out of the box?

Forgive me for my eagerness, it's my first Mac and I rather be overwhelmed then underwhelmed by it

I got mine 2 weeks ago. I forgot to do the calibration! :-(
Now iStat is saying battery health is at 98%. Should I be worried?

I plan to calibrate at the end of the month. (But how do you tell when all the "auxiliary" batteries are drained? There's no batter power level monitor like on the side of the new MacBook Pros or right on the battery of the pre-unibody Pros.
