when syncing, what is "other"?

I have 200mb of "other". WTH is it and how can I delete it? Anyone know?

It's your OS, notes, settings, contacts, calendar events and text messages.

Sure, delete them if it's really bugging you.

Other = OS, texts, notes, settings and anything that is no media, apps or photos.

I have 780 mb of "Other"... It takes like 12 seconds for my messages to open. Guess what the other accounts for?

i know you didn't post this in the hacked section; but im pretty sure any jailbreaking related apps or data are stored in other as well
