When the New iMac is released...which 2nd monitor will be best?

I tend to pre-research my purchases. I strongly suspect that a new iMac will be released in October and I will buy the 27" 5k screen version. I will need a second monitor. Apple sells the LG 5K ultra fine but I am hearing some not so good stuff about it. Then I have heard that Dell makes one too. Is anyone out there using an iMac for photo purposes with a second screen? If so, how realistic and unified are color renditions. Any recommendations?

I'm currently using an LG 4k 32" with my 2013 MB Pro. Price keeps fluctuating, but I got it for $400 US. As soon as new imacs appear, I'm buying a 27"

Decide on what display size you want, and what resolution (1080p, 1440p, or 4k).
