I have a MBP Core Duo 1, and as new ones come out, I fear that mie will lose all value. Esp. b/c it lacks a dual layer burner. I have already increased the memory, and yet I'm still getting the beach ball, dropped frames and looooong renders for short video clips 
My MBP is in good condition with signs of use (little scuff marks, minor paint chipping, etc.). It has Pro Care and Apple Care coverage w/plenty of time left. I upgraded the memory to 2GB, otherwise the specs are standard.
The thing is, I want to buy the NEW MBP today and just trust that I can sell this one, but that's scary. Do you think I'll be able to get at least $1500 for it as described? I know it's difficult to know without seeing it, but on Craigslist they're selling for about that much.
