I have a MBP Core Duo 1, and as new ones come out, I fear that mie will lose all value. Esp. b/c it lacks a dual layer burner. I have already increased the memory, and yet I'm still getting the beach ball, dropped frames and looooong renders for short video clips :(

My MBP is in good condition with signs of use (little scuff marks, minor paint chipping, etc.). It has Pro Care and Apple Care coverage w/plenty of time left. I upgraded the memory to 2GB, otherwise the specs are standard.

The thing is, I want to buy the NEW MBP today and just trust that I can sell this one, but that's scary. Do you think I'll be able to get at least $1500 for it as described? I know it's difficult to know without seeing it, but on Craigslist they're selling for about that much.
