there are ad blocker in the app store too block the ads
Wish these were global: yesterday I kept getting a redirect from a page I opened in the Twitter browser. Once I opened the page in safari, the redirects ended. Guess Apple needs to convince other app developers to use the Safari view controller.

I downloaded a bunch of ad blocker when the rules were relaxed and non did the job. Some of them even flopped...Any recommendations of what's the best available now?

I get annoyed when I click a soundcloud link in FaceBook and it takes me to the SoundCloud app page and WILL NOT let me simply open the link in Safari. It's so annoying.

I don't want the app. I wanna view it in Safari!

Or that annoying issue of searching for something on iTunes and it takes me to Apple Music (which I don't have). I'm just trying to BUY music, but instead they're trying to force Apple music on me.

I know there are and had ineffective experience with a bunch of them. Did they get any better, at least the ones that survived?

horrible UX to be browsing or using an app and I'm redirected to the App Store or another app without clicking any ad.

this reminds me of Internet explorer in the 2000s with multi window popups and dialogue boxes.
At one point Apple seemed to be looking into it. That said, I haven't really come across any such auto redirects in quite some time (while I used to every now and then).

In my opinion, Purify is the best ad blocker in the store, and I say this after trying all the other popular ones. Purify blocks the most ads and since I started using it I haven't gotten any unwanted redirects to the App Store.

I downloaded two of them, and they could block safari ads, but not ads loaded in mini browser inside an app.
So after then I just removed them.
