With OTA delta updates, there could be 5.0.1, 5.0.2, etc.
There have been plenty of x.x.x updates in the past without OTA updates so I don't why it would be any different with OTA updates.

Apple could update every day if they wanted...
i was thinking we would not see iOS 5.1 till around the same time as iPad 3?
Two off the top of my head:Like?
Not really. There's this time-intensive thing called "testing and QA", which doesn't change with OTA updates.Apple could update every day if they wanted...
Hope iOS 5.1 improves iMessages, with more control over group messages (i.e. turn notifications off).
specifically improve Siri

While that's certainly possible, I'd argue that it would only apply to non-GUI, lower-level code. Higher-level code typically has complex interactions that often preclude the use of unit testing for final QA purposes, although unit testing can (and should) be used for basic-to-moderate functionality testing.Except that OTA DELTA updates allow for very small patches that can easily go thru a unit test rather than a full system test due to the nature of the patch.
