I keep seeing how people interested in buying an iMac should wait because they will most likely announce new one(s) at the upcoming mac convention in Jan. If they do, how long after Apple announces a new product does it usually take to hit the shelves?

I'd really like to buy an iMac now, but I will definitely wait if the new one will be out in a month or two.

Thanks.

The new macbooks took a few days... the last iMac revisions were nearly instant... the macbook air was a frenzy...

I did try a few searches before asking. I guess I couldn't come up with a good search phrase because I wasn't able to find anything. I am new to this site, just found it yesterday, so I'm still finding my way around. Could you perhaps point me to the thread that shows this information?

Thank you.
