I don't think so, but the general expectation is that it'll be a once yearly release.

Anyway,

After the backlash from the iPhone being updated only 2 months after release Apple has tended to stick to only updating iPhone and iPod lines once a year. Since the iPad is in the same family I'd say it's unlikely Apple will release new iPad hardware soon. The next update you will see for iPad is OS 4.0 most likely at the September iPod update.

As soon as Steve Jobs gets tired of people asking the question, particularly people who get their jollies by being the the first to ask it. What's a 'rumour' anyway?

Rumor has it that a "new iPad specs" rumor will will leaked out January 7, 2011, or thereabouts. Stay tuned to Mac Rumors for the latest. According to the rumor on the rumor, it will make 74% of iPad watchers ecstatic and WOOTing, while 22% will be pissed as Satan and curse Steve Jobs' toe nails because it does not include their pet fantasy feature. 4% will like the new features, but state they will wait another year for even more features to be added. They will say the same thing in 2012-2019.
