Not for at least 6-7 months. And regarding the resolution, yes, Leopard will have resolution independence, so you can jack it up as high as your heart desires in a month or so

yes.... but think about the aspect ratio

Fact is NO ONE knows when the new MBP will be out. There are some that may give educated guesses as to what it may have, but as we saw with the 3.0 GHz Octo MP, we never know.

well, yes you have a point, and if they do have 1650x1050 resolution people will be crying because its not 1900x1440 (or whatever the exact size is)

i was more concerned with the resolution thing. but the resolution independence thing wont change the resolution right? just zoom in more or somehting? like it cant make a 15' MBP 1920x1200 right?

Its going to be awhile until they refresh it, they just refreshed it in June, so it hasn't been that long since that point.

I woudn't want a screen that big on a 15', you would be squinting at the screen, there is only so far you can go at a certain resolution before it becomes hard to read text without customizing the screen DPI and such.
