When will Powerbeats pro be updated?

Any guesses/speculation if there will be a new version of these soon?

I have a love-hate relationship with my AirPod pros - when they fit properly, they are awesome. The problem is that often I just don’t get a good fit and they start falling out. I’ve tried all the usual tip replacements, and no luck. Sometimes, they fit great, other times they don’t. I can’t figure out why.

I‘d like to replace them with Powerbeats pro, but I know they’ve been out for over a year now and my guess is that eventually will get “updated “. Would hate to buy a pair and find out that a new version is available a couple weeks/months after buying.

Any guesses as to when a new version might come out?

The current models already have the H1 chip so until Apple develops an H2, I would expect them to not be updated (sans perhaps new colors like happened earlier this year).

Even though they launched in May of 2019, I wouldn’t hold out hope for a refresh this spring. Like CWallace said, maybe a new H2 chip when it’s available. I think now is a fine time to buy them since they’ve been at their lowest price ever. Amazon still has some from $150 to $170 and returns until January 31st.
