When will the iPhone OS be renamed?

It's great that the iPhone brought us an amazing tough UI but now it has evolved into a more full featured iPad. The OS deserves a name change IMO as it is much more than just a mobile platform now. Agree?

I can see it being referred to as iOS or OS X Touch or something in the future... probably 4.0. It covers far too many devices to be named after one now in my opinion. It'll only lead to confusion.
