It would be nice if they informed beta testers either via the app store or via the feedback app - sending a standard thankyou for participating/ providing feedback would be nice.

I know most beta testers would already be aware, but even so it would be nice and would not involve any significant amount of time or effort.

I downloaded the fresh release of Yosemite 10.10. My MBP informed me that I was already running that version, but I installed anyway. I went through a typical install with a few reboots. Feedback assistant is still present, so I almost wonder if it actually 'upgraded.'

I was expecting an upgrade like between the beta releases. When I go to the OS X Yosemite page in the App Store, it tells me I already have 10.10 installed, and prompts me to just "download it again".

I presume I'll have to actually do a "full install" as if I were running Mavericks?

I think I'll give it another day to make sure before doing that.

I've been running the Beta since PB4, and had the same issue's as others, i.e. no upgrade offered to people running PB6.

In the end I just downloaded the whole thing again from the app store. Took 45mins start to finish, went without a hitch, at least for me

Did you lose any of your data etc? I don't want to have to reinstall everything etc.

----------

Currently running OS X 10.10 (14A388b) which is PB6, downloaded all the Pages/iPhoto/iTunes updates though.

All my apps, docs etc are still here, I can't see anything missing, looks okay so far. Not so sure about the latest itunes update though, had a weird couple of minutes with it just now; seems to be okay at the moment......
