iPad Pro When will they be available at the Apple Store?

Been waiting for a new iPad for 6 months. Anyone know? Is it tomorrow?


And also, is this something I will probably need to wait in line in the morning for? Or could I swing by after work and they will still be in stock?
 
Was in the Apple store today and overheard someone saying they should have them in on Tuesday but they start shipping on Monday. This is in the UK but i'm sure its the same for the US
 
Just out of Apple store in Buchanan Street, Glasgow. They said they don't have any 'in-stock' and haven't been told when they'll 'arrive'. The guy gave is a fairly big hint to call straight away tomorrow morning to check if they are available but if not then call back Wednesday.

I called apple yesterday and asked if there were any iPads in the store I could try with apple pencil to help me decide if I wanted one. The guy on the phone told me that all the old iPads are no longer for sale and the new ones would be in the store on Tuesday. I ordered one last night and it when I ordered it apple's website said it would be delivered Wednesday. Now the UPS tracking number is estimating it will be there tomorrow but we will see. This was for the 10.5 inch 64GB. Some of the larger sizes had estimated delivery dates closer to June 20th.
 
There are some 10.5 models available in the Apple Store in Pittsburgh - none with LTE. They also have a couple on display. I'm going there later to check it out.

Remember, the employees are notoriously clueless. If they say they are on sale, this actually means nothing.

Then again, who knows.

I talked to my local Apple Store and they said they are not sure what stock they will have but they will be on display Tuesday.

I bought my MacBook Pro at this store the night before launch so I think the employee is probably right. She was able to tell me what models they had and none were with LTE which is what I want.

You were right! I went to the Apple store this evening and none are available until tomorrow and none were on display.
 
Called my local Apple Store and they said demo units won't be in-store until Wednesday for the 10.5" and next Tuesday for the 12.9".
 
Apple Store employee today on when iPads Pro would be showing up in store:

"I don't know. But probably tomorrow or Wednesday. Definitely this week."
 
I got the "this week" too, today. It really is odd that for the past week, "old" models are being sold at full price with no real indication that there are new updated ones hours or days away. I noticed the pricing "app" that is on all the devices was not active, so those orphaned Ipads are just playing out the string, and tomorrow morning the old 9.7 Pros just vanish, not sold off at a discount or anything...just gone.

I realize that they can't have nothing on the tables this past week at Apple Stores, but to sell some old model for a week, for basically the same price as a new one, just doesn't seem like proper logistic/product/sales/retail management. I saw an older couple come in and start looking at Ipad Pro's when I was waiting to ask a question about availability, and if they didn't (not assuming anything) know that tomorrow you could get a significantly better version for the same price, would the Apple Store guy tell them that?
 
I cancelled my previous order and ordered for in store pickup. Just got the notification it’s ready, and am in an uber now.

I just re-directed your Uber to the Microsoft store, and am on my way to pick up the last Pro at Apple. :p
 
anyone going to a UK apple store, can they post if they have the full range of smart covers? I want to see the colour choices because online they all look a bit 'meh'. I really want a red one like with my current 9.7"
 
They were available in the Apple store in Pittsburgh this morning. All models were on display. I went in for a silver 10.5 and ended up with Space Gray. The black bezels really make the screen pop. The store was quiet and only one other person was interested in purchasing the new pro (12.9) while I was there.
