Do you think that Apple products will eventually get to the point that Apple stops trying to use "now 1mm thinner!" as a marketing pitch/stops trying to make them thinner and thinner?

It seems with every single product revision for the past few years, the focus has been on thinner. If it continues, at some point we are bound to have products that just can't get much thinner.

Do you think Apple will eventually stop focusing on how thin they can make something, or will Apple continue until devices are 1mm thin?

Things are getting smaller and smaller all the time. You could have asked this question 10 years ago and people would have said that PowerBooks are as thin as it will ever get.

Thinner than you could ever hope to hold with your hands. Trust me. The next MBA will probably also serve as a butcher's knife.

You can never be too rich or too thin. People won't be happy until you can fold your phone up in your wallet.

Eventually the drive to make every iteration thinner will have to slow due to the limitations of the materials involved. You can only go so thin before your Air begins to flex under its own weight.

I think Apple is sitting on the edge. For cell phones we can make them fit in something the size of a watch no problem. Hell I want to say in the past there already have been cell phone out there thinner than the iPhone. Found out people do not like them.

Cell phone were the smallest in I want to say 2005-2006 range and since then have been growing in average size. There is a sweet spot range.

Some people find that small isn't best for them. It comes down to ergonomics and personal preference. I have bought larger cameras because the smaller ones didn't feel right in my hands.

The one product I wish Apple would realize isn't important to have as small as possible is the Mac mini. I would love to have a Mac that was sized between the mini and the Pro. Maybe the footprint is important but the height not so much. Make a desktop Mac (not an all in one) that is sized between the mini and the Pro and I'll be all smiles.

I don't really care what Apple does with the pads, pods, phones and laptops since I'm not interested in any of them.
