I just used PWNage on my old iPhone, is it now unlocked? If not what would I have to do to unlock it.

Well when it was flashing when I booted it, it had unlock selected. Also I don't have a SIM card in it, but I can access the home screen. If it is unlocked, I can just slip a new SIM card it. Sorry for these questions, but I am selling it and I want to make sure that it is unlocked.

Well I am on 2.01, I saw the one for 2.0. This may sound ridiculous but can the 2.0 unlock tool work for the 2.01 firmware.

Okay so is the unlock tool work with the 2.01 firmware? Because it says 2.0, but could that be the version of the tool?

I think you have confused yourself and me. Download the latest pwnage tool, which will upgrade 2.0.1. Then download the latest firmware from Apple's website and run the pwnage tool and you have a jailbroken phone. Then find Boot Neuter and you will have an unlocked phone.

Why don't you put the SIM card in and check?

How are you meant to know without trying it?!?

You should know that an already unlocked 2.0 phone remains unlocked in 2.0.1 as the phone part is not updated by Apple.

If you have installer and cydia then you know its jailbreaked - if not download the latest pwnagetool and make a custom firmware and restore!

Okay, I put another SIM card in it and it worked. Although it was another AT&T one, does that mean anything?
