Not a really good start for the new OS to have a issue when your iMac goes into sleep mode. And IMO I don't get what is new about this OS I have iMac mid-2011 the only difference I see is the UI is changed again like the last OS.

As for the features which still I am trying to figure out are basically same as what Windows has for Windows 10 so I am not sure if this was any improvement or just copying another OS. A lot of this new features would be best if iMac was touch screen.

Yes I agree, there nothing quite as enjoyable as looking at a mess of greasy fingerprints on a desktop monitor.

Remove your login items, I'll wager one of them isn't compatible and is causing the restart. Assume you actually did want help and not just an excuse to rant?

Current Mac OS X is definitely not optimised for touch screen. You can find a monitor with the ability to touch and have a try. :)
