Where and which Ipad to buy?

I've been pondering about the idea of whether or not to buy an ipad. Ive come to the conclusion that im gonna do it. 16gb will be sufficient enough memory for me. The big question is do i go for the wifi or wifi + 3g.

Is having 3g really worth an extra £100. any opinions and personal experience will be much appreciated.

On the face of it's possibly not worth the £100, you could get a 3 mobile mifi device for less. Though you're tied to a contract with that, but you can use it with other devices. It really depends how much you plan to use it away from a wifi network. I'm still undecided about which version to get. The advantage of the 3g model is it's just one device.

It's pretty much the same price everywhere. The 16gb does seem to be more available compared to the 32gb.

1. Depends on your needs. If you are going to be around a wifi network all the time, then I'd say you don't need 3G. If you are like me and will be in places with no wifi often, then you need 3G. The wifi + mifi option is also good but the only thing is the battery charge cycles on those devices are like a third of the iPad's. Also, if you need a more accurate GPS, then you need 3G.

where can i buy an ipad in new york?

hi! a friend of mine is in new york right now and i asked him to get an ipad for me that i live in buenos aires. he just sent an email saying he went to the apple store and that all ipad models were sold out . can anyone tell me where he can buy one? he is coming back to bs as on tuesday and he is my only opportunity to get an ipad!!!!! thanks!!!!!

Tell him to check all the area stores each day. Find out what time of day the stores get deliveries and then call at that time. That's what I did and I only had to wait a day or two to find one.
