The iPhone 4 has been out for a few months now. And I'm pretty sure it's easier to get your hands on a new iPod touch (correct me if I'm wrong but it has the same specs, right?). I haven't seen that many great games come out recently. I did fall in love with Osmos though, great game. But all I see are games like Angry Birds, pick up and play games. Where's the games with all the amazing featurs and graphics? I'm just a little confused it's taking dev's this long.

Oh I bought that new app called Skyfire, and instant delete because it didn't work and no retina display!

It will come, but whenever hardware changes there is a delay before it is economic to develop an app that relies upon it, as there are proportionally fewer of the new model than the old.

First you normally see the addition of enhancements to apps that work on the older hardware, such as upgrades to support retina displays but which still work fine on the older models.

its a shame Apple wont tell us the proportions of iDevices on each hardware and OS platform so we can do the math and work out when its economic to target the newer devices
