I've been checking up the Apple Store more or less several times a day looking for a refurbished 24" ever since the new range launched. With the exception of one, fleetingly, the day after launch, I haven't seen a single iMac. Lots of people seem to be ordering new ones, so I'd have thought that there'd be an improved supply of refurbs. Do we reckon Apple are sitting on old Macs to somehow skew the market?

I don't know where you are, but here in Europe you ve to wake up early to get the best choice. It goes fast.

Beside that it's refurb, so you have to be patient ! ;)

they are probably stockpiling them, so they don't kill sales of the new ones. I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch are available after Xmas

if you look hard enough you may find one at macmall.com.

Do an advanced search select the box that says "show products ready to be shipped"
