So I just watched the keynote again and noticed that Steve didnt say or show anything concerning the built in camera or the iCal app. Why do you think those (among some smaller apps) were not included?

EDIT: the title should say "2mp camera," not phone - oops

I thought it was 3MP, but whatever. A cameraphone is a cameraphone. Not much to say about that, unless it'd a 5D with a built in 10-500mm f/1.4-3.0 and phone, that also integrated 100GB of flash memory and weighed 3 ounces. Also, I suspect that the iCal app was still to buggy to show.

Yeah, the camera isnt *That* big of a deal and iCal was probably stil la little buggy.

actually in the Keynote, he says something like "now we're gonna talk about 3 things: Calling, the Calendar, and SMS texting. but he just skipped the calendar!

during the recap of that section, he showed a quick flash of the calendar... but not quite the demo he promised! we'll just hafta wait i guess, but a good calendar is veyr important for me.
