...after migrating my MobileMe account to iCloud my address book is empty. MobileMe is no longer functioning on my iMac or iPhone.

Does any one know how to get my addresses from my address book to iCloud... MobileMe did have my addresses. Thanks...:confused:

Yeah .. I had that issue too ... and the Export/Import buttons on iCloud are greyed out

Ended up adding all one by one ... gave me some perspective on people in my address book though :D ...

Yes, it ate my contacts too. Luckily I had an almost up to date list I exported to Gmail so could save that a vCard and import into Address Book. I can still get into my MobileMe contacts on me.com. I had backed up mail and calendars prior to migration but had forgotten contacts - typical.

solution to importing contacts from address book to iCloud contacts

You just export the vcard from your Mac Address book, then log in to your iCloud account, click on "Contacts" (make sure there aren't any contacts there already - if there are, delete them, even the default one that has your name on it) then there should be a grayed out prompt that says to drag a vcard into the blank addresses/contact area. Once you drop it in, you'll need to go back to your system prefs on your mac, and turn the "contact" button off, and then on again (when you turn it off it will say do you want to delete from your mac, you say yes). After you do this, the syncing will occur. It took me trying it twice - but then it worked (I even refreshed the browser once).
