Hi Peoples,

My HD crashed on my iMac, now I don't' want OSX but only to install windows xp sp2. Therefore no boot camp, just a fresh xp install from the slipstreamed windows cd. ATI works flawlessly but I'm just missing the various drivers especially sound drivers? I can't seem to find prober ones that work from intel support site...

Can anybody help me or send me an url to download a driver pack etc.

Best Regards,
Me

no boot camp

download a driver pack

Well, Noodle-nose, the Windows driver pack for Macintosh hardware
is called "Boot Camp". Just mount the Leopard DVD in Windows
and there they are.

If all you have is the beta, do a "Show Package Contents"
(right-click) on "Boot Camp Assistant.app", and in
Contents/Resources you'll find the driver DMG file.

How you get them onto Windows is your problem, Dog-breath.

Okay the OSX Leopard (DVD) was a .dmg file which just can't be mounted in Daemon tools. MagicISO and others failed but a small app called TransMac solved this and I extracted the .dmg to an iso which now Daemon can mount - Great Success! :) Although the mission is not complete it looks like at can find the missing drivers from the iso content and hopefully update missing drivers on my iMac running only win xp - sweet!

If anyone need the files individually feel free to email me rolf_spam@hotmail.com

Thx to nospamboz you have the cleverpants on... :)

I like Apple, love the design I just hate the whiners in between!
