I upgraded to ios 5 but did not activate any iCloud services: under settings/iCloud all services are set to "off" and under settings/Photos "Photo Stream" is set to "off". I am on a limited data plan so I need to be careful.

I see everything in my camera roll as before the update including albums that I made on my computer and synched. I see the new photos I took today and which I haven't downloaded.

My work flow is to import all photos through Lightroom, I do not use iPhoto. Now, when i go to import through Lightroom it doesn't see any photos on my iPhone (it does see the iphone), I looked through Image Capture as well (which I use occasionally) and it sees no photos to import. If I look in iTunes it sees 2.6 GB of photos.

How do I import my images
I don't need them in multiple places
I just need them on my computer

Well, photo stream can be on because it only syncs when on Wifi.

So, I've too noticed some weird things going on with Image Capture, and have had to either disconnect and reconnect my phone once or twice, or restart image capture a couple times. Very weird, but likely just a bug.
