I'm running iOS 8 on my iPhone 6 and Yosemite beta on my rMBP. I take pictures on my phone and when I get home, add them to my iPhoto library. Then I choose to delete them off my phone when given the prompt, as I assume they should show up in my iCloud photos. But it seems many (most?) don't. Photo management on my phone is now seriously frustrating. What can I do?

I am not 100% sure, but I do believe since iOS 8 once you delete from one place, it deletes them from all of your devices. No more separate camera roll and such...

I don't think iPhoto speaks to iCloud Photo Library yet, so it won't appear there until it does.
