Also $ TMPDIR / .. / T
and $ TMPDIR / .. / C

Use "set" in Terminal to find out where TMPDIR is.

Is not there a way to have the full list? It seems everyone will continue to add without be sure if there are or not others.
(latest Yosemite and Safari versions)

Don't answer if you are not sure at 100%

I would like to restore Safari to the beginning when opened it for the first time.

Look for Safari in /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ and move it out of the folder. Relaunch Safari.

you might want to remove ONLY the SAFARI plists from that folder, not the whole preferences folder.

EDIT: i don't think any of what i posted here will do it (i tried it in a 'test' account). i'd ask apple directly, or google the issue further...

also...

there are files everywhere, do you have an iphone or ipad? those may be synced to the same sites, etc.

everything should be in the User Library:
the Safari folder itself; files in Saved Application State, Preferences, SyncedPreferences, the Cache folder, the Cloudkit folder INSIDE the cache folder...

proceed with care; backup first. if you delete these things, QUIT safari first.
reboot, and log out - back in after.

good luck...
So just doing this in my MacBook Pro uploaded at latest Yosemite and Safari versions and then Safari is restored?
I do not have other Apple devices
