Where are the Apple factories located?

Does anyone know where Apples factories are located? I need to know for a school assignment. Source in welcome.

I know there are factories in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Ireland. Does anyone have any sources(like journals or such) that confirm that? I already tried Google, but I can only find some articles from blogs, and that's not reliable.

Apple does not manufacture their products, thus there is no "Apple factory". They are manufactured by third parties such as Foxconn (the biggest one), just like most electronics

Interesting enough, it appears Apple does own a final assembly factory in Ireland. I never knew that. Thanks for the link rdowns!
