Today is the day I expected the NDA to be lifted and the reviews to start flooding in. Today I have scoured the internet for the first signs of a review post. Today I have found nothing but silence and even fewer news leaks, app news leaks, or anything other than people posting where their iPads were in the world.

When will Apple allow reviews to be posted? I want to occupy my time with youtube videos of review sites unboxing the beast, and reviews of how amazingly awesome the thing is and why I SHOULD be in agony for Saturday to finally roll around.

Lift the NDA Apple! Lift it!

Technically they're allowed to post at midnight Thursday (i.e. 1 second into Friday), so that there's a full day of press before they go on sale.

However, look for one intrepid journalist to release their review prior to that, and watch the others follow.

Is this proven? If so I cant wait!

If not today, then tomorrow. If not Thursday, then Friday for sure. Or Saturday at the latest.

You can take that to the bank.

My guess is that David Pogue of the New York Times and Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal will both publish their iPad reviews in tomorrow's editions. Thursday is Tech day at the Times and for sure Apple will want the review before the launch day as it would be old news by next week. And the WSJ will NOT be behind the New York Times --

Like I stated many times throughout this forum that my "friend" who is a reviewer stated that the embargo is scheduled to lift tomorrow. But the Lawyers told them that it could change though and to expect the notice later in the day.

Pix or it didn't happen ;)

I wish I could provide pics, but this was during a face to face meeting about other news for one of their political reporters. I provide them with some information they give me some back about what's going on in the Tech World.

We'll accept a drawing of the conversation w/ speech bubbles.

They were just discussing such things on the last TWiT. Apparently Walt Mossberg has a habit of releasing his early reviews at 9pm (Pacific) prior to the 12 midnight time. I guess he'd be the one to look for. Just check 9pm (pacific) tonight and tomorrow night.

LOL.

Kindle-fan Mossberg said the iPad was better and more enjoyable for reading books and if he had to choose, it's the iPad.

:)
