Where are the new free ios apps located?

I just got an iPhone 5s and during initial set up it displayed the apps that are now free in the App Store such as pages iPhoto etc. I could not download them at that time it would not allow me so I continued with the set up. When I go back into the App Store to download it displays a price? Am I going to the wrong section in the store?

No one? They were offered free then all of a sudden have prices next to them

i just downloaded free apps from the iphone 5s and it has free next to the name
