Right click on a song and click "Create Ringtone..." if it was purchased from the iTunes store it will let you edit it. You can also create your own ringtones, which is free and easy (using Audacity or Garageband). Also go into the General preferences in iTunes to make sure you have the Ringtones tab enabled.

in itunes 8 you could see the ringtone in the itunes store. now you cant, and didnt they say something about precut ringtones??

im obviously talking about the new precut ringtones lol. i know how to edit one.

I could only find them in the iTunes app on the iPhone itself. There's a new category for them in the "More" section in that app.

The important question is, why are you buying them? You can buy the FULL entire song for 99 cents, and then edit whatever part you want into a ringtone. FOR FREE.

Seriously. Why? No reason to buy the pre-made ringtones. What a joke.

Uh, I don't know, convenience? It's not like he's using your money.

Anyway, I think they only appear on the phone.
