Where are you guys buying the "Apple" case??

Online it says ships "late April"

Stores say they have not gotten any yet.

so where's everyone getting theirs from?

Some of us preordered a long time ago and got it delivered right around the time the iPad came out. Others got them at the Apple store and Best Buy.
 
I got mine from Best Buy, but if distance is not an issue I think the Apple store is more likely to have it.
 
I didn't pre-order mine and was worried I'd have to wait, but on iPad day when I went to the Apple store to pick up my reserved iPad they had a wall full of them and I grabbed one then. They seemed to have a lot, even though the cases weren't available to purchase online until mid April.

funny you mention this, I ordered on the 18th along with my 3G iPad. It said my case would ship on the 15th, but they prepared it for shipment today and charged me yesterday.
 
I know all of the Apple stores around me are out as are the Best Buys. I am still trying to get my hands on one. I called one of the Apple stores today and they told me that I would be better off just ordering it online cause they have no idea when they may get more in.:(
 
Apple store had hundreds of them on Tue in San Diego.

Right now their is not one to be had in all of San Diego (BB, Apple store etc.)

Anyone looking to get rid of one shoot me a PM before you drive back to the store.

Also iPad stocks are dwindling in San Diego. Best Buy is out for a week or so, the Apple stores are running low on the popular models late in the afternoon.

at least 450,000 sold as of this morning might still be a bit of an underestimate.

I got my Apple case Monday morning right as the Apple stores opened. At the time, the Apple store in University Village only had 2 left but the Apple store in Bellevue had probably 50 of them.
 
There were plenty cases at the Apple Store I got my iPad at on release day. Though - honestly - I'd get a different case. I'm not really digging the Apple case. It obscures the side button and the sides are just rough and not so "feel good".
 
I got mine at the UWS Apple Store in New York...and promptly returned it as I really hated it. (so there should be one there!)
 
Anyone happen to order one of these recently from Apple.com and get it shipped out already. I am just wondering if the "late April" ship date holds true or not. I keep calling my local Apple stores each day and none of them have them in stock still. :(
 
Apple Store in Cherry Hill, NJ. They had a good 12+ on the shelf when I got there, but at least three of them sold (one to me, and mine was the only one not accompanied by an iPad purchase) in a ten minute time period.

Also somewhat surprised at just how mobbed the display units were. There were at least 3-4 people standing around each one....
 
Got mine at best buy. Went to the local apple store first but they were sold out so I checked with BB and they had some about 30 minutes away
