Hi,

My friend gave me his original iPhone. I've jailbroken it using PwnageTool, but now I need a sim to put in it. Where can I buy that sim?

I'm only living in the US for the next two months and would like to buy a pay-as-you-go or pre-paid sim then just slide that into my jailbroken iPhone.

What carriers sell PAYG sims int he US?

All of them. Just go to the carriers store and buy a card. The term they use in the US is "prepaid" rather than PAYG. :)

You can also buy them at stores like Target. If you go to the AT&T store, just tell them that you got a go phone off freecycle, but it didn't come with a SIM card. Don't mention the iPhone at all.

T-Mobile offers some pretty nice deals if you want data.
You can also try out FlexPay, which is all of their plans, but you don't have to sign a contract. You just pay every month in advance.
