I want to upgrade my Xserve, but I don't want to buy an Apple Drive Module. Can I buy just the enclosure and put my own SATA drive in it? If so, can I get a link to a store? Thanks!

ummm have you tried ebay? you can find the empty modules with all the electronics for really cheap then just throw your hard drive in there and you are good to go.

Weird I was about to post same question.
We have an older XServe G5 RackMac 3,1 using three 380GB drives.
Does anyone know what kind of drives this unit will take?
Pref 1TB and up :)
or is it basic like other Mac Pros?
