Hi All. I tried to jailbreak my ATV2 last night with a greenpois0n downloaded from a mirror. Everytime it started the jailbreak greenpois0n would crash. I want to get the file from the source but greenpois0n.com doesn't resolve. Anyone have any thoughts?

Well I did some more searching and found a mirror in the forums here that works. I was jailbroken in under 5 minutes. All I have to say is XBMC is slick. If apple would only start an app store for the ATV so we could easily get rid of cable.

I'm curious: what makes you find XBMC "slick"?

I find the interface to be horribly slow and clunky. I love the bluecop add-on, but man is it ever slow and non-intuitive.

Used http://www.greenpois0n.com/ 10 minutes ago and it works fine.

When I was doing it the site was down. The next day it was working. Oh well, I still found the file and was able to jailbreak.

I guess by slick I simply meant it is great to have the BlueCop add-ons and the ability to connect to my airdisk for streaming movies and tv shows that are in my itunes library so I no longer need to have my MBP running. I think that XBMC is kind of slow and definitely not intuitive at all. I am very familiar with networking and was somewhat miffed I had to go find a tutorial on connecting my airdisk. It wasn't even close to an intuitive process.

Never-the-less, I felt that XBMC + BlueCop = a $99 aTV2 that is actually worth something. Don't get me wrong, I loved the aTV2 before jailbreaking - but being able to use the add-ons and connect to my airdisk make this thing one of the best streaming boxes for the money and form factor in my opinion. I think if they enabled 1080p output many more people would agree even though for my purposes 720p is more than sufficient in streaming.
