Where can i get MTP drivers for my Samsung Galaxy S6? I have no MTP option under Storage settings and Android File Transfer doesn't work.

Yes, i have already researched the **** out of it. After upgrading to El Capitan it just stopped working. I remember seeing some Samsung drivers somewhere while still on Yosemite. Now I'm wondering if those drivers were removed when doing an upgrade.

So i used Pacifist and extracted driver from the Kies app which doesn't work under 10.11. Now Android File Transfer works.

Thanks.

Doesn't OS X support SMB file sharing? Just create a shared folder on OS X then use Solid Explorer app from the Galaxy S6 to move files over WIFI. If you want the S6 to be the file server you can use DavDrive then browse or map to it from Mac/Windows. No drivers needed.
