Apple discontinued the 27" iMac several months ago. That's the message. This is a 9-8-22 screenshot from the Apple Store on my 27"iMac:
Is there a message in the display for 27" fans?
It's not Apple, but I've heard this Macrumors site is pretty reputable 😎Would you share the announcement w me? a link?
Fixed it for you.New 27" iMac > Studio Display and Mac Studio (or another Mac of your choice).
Apple doesn't announce when they drop old products. They never did. They also don't announce new products unless they are ready to ship, or it'll be released to certifying agencies (i.e. the FCC for the first iPhone). So Apple has said nothing. I won't be replacing my intel for a 24" to have a 27" fall out of the sky. Talk about stupid marketing.
What does this mean Apple confirmed, I haven’t seen anything confirming this? A lot of people say it’s confirmed but I saw a purple cow this morning, and can confirm it.Apple in March had officially confirmed the 27" as 'end of life'.

Rumors suggest a big Apple Silicon iMac is coming, but it’s not here yet.arstechnica.com
Ice cube?Personally, I'm still waiting for them to resume production of the Power Mac G4 Cube. It's just been put on ice y'all!
