Yes, I think with “Protect Mail Privacy enabled, the purpose of “block remote images is actually enhanced - you don’t have to load the images, but emailers are. Still blocked from knowing you viewed their email. Thank you!
It seems to me that re-routing an email image load through another IP doesn't keep the spammer from knowing if your email address is truly active.
So…at Settings>Mail>Privacy Protection I've disabled "Protect Mail Activity" (what a horrible name for what it does) and enabled "Block All Remote Content".
