The same place the magazine is going... Extinct. Lets face it, no one buys MacWorld anymore and they don't have enough money to fund it.
Actually IDG has already shut down the print edition (back in Sept)

Magazines are a dinosaur of a bygone era at this stage. I will say, the demise of the magazine is sad, i remember so many Mac magazines available but alas the internet has replaced magazines by and large
No Magazines are still kicking about... And personally (like many others) I have no interest and actually loath the iPad/Kindle experience, it just so happens that MacWorld made itself irrelevant.
Macworld's OSX Hints and their Forums Died
Macworld's OSX Hints and their Forums Died... Seems like it happened in mid to late November 2014. The community in the forums was very helpful to the mac community at large. Much like this community. It seems Macworld's financial picture dictated shuttering the site and leaving in a zombie state they call Read Only, where you can only go to their Hints home page and not much else in Hints and nothing in their many years of Forums.

So sad to hear about this. I was a FORUMMER there for more than a decade. It has helped a lot with all MY APPLE AND MAC RELATED HEADACHES. I had always try to give to other FORUMMERS there too. I guess this is the new main place then. Official Apple Forums? Useless.

first time poster here, after many years on the os x hints forums. Twas a great forum, and I found a lot of the people very helpful. Anthover above was always great (hi anthover), and Hayne and Trevor (one of the moderators) were great as well. Hope Trevor especially can make it over here.
